Mr & Mrs Aller, known by their friends as Jake and Taylor, are a Vancouver based power couple. Over the years of their relationship, they’ve seen their share of highs and lows. They believe in marriage and think relationships are delicious–a lot of work–but so very worth it.
Equally as cool and optimistic, they are known to spark a light in the world. People recognize something special about them that goes beyond a normal relationship. Together, they encourage goodness in the world and make it a better place.
Individually driven in their own endeavours, Taylor as an RMT/Writer/Speaker/Educator and Jake advancing in the field of Audio Engineering, they also maintain an active and healthy lifestyle as Professional Hip Hop Dancers.
They’re enthusiastically attracted to giving back and participating in the community and can both agree–the world needs more love. Expanding their positive impact on the world daily, Jake and Tay are all about growth, knowledge, and helping others.
ABOUT THE RELATIONSHIP PROJECT
So often we see the highlight reel of relationships on social media without seeing the hard work, the mistakes, the stumbles, the arguments, the tension, and the mess. We comment “#goals” without knowing what it took to get there, or what that relationship has been through. Relationships can be seen as disposable, and we don’t agree with that.
We think there’s an unrealistic expectation of relationships being easy or magical, when it’s actually really hard and rewarding work. We want others to enjoy the heights of a genuine, successful, and loving relationship.
So…
The Relationship Project is opening the doors and giving others a behind the scenes look into what successful relationships practice. With our events, online courses, blog, socials, and more, we want to expose the mistakes and triumphs, and personally share how we are growing and learning together–and how you can, too.
Because, let’s be real.
Relationships are beautiful and messy. It’s time we see (and share!) it all.
Check out The Blog (we’ve got some good stuff over there!) or work with us at our next event.
